Swahili is a language spoken by people who live in a part of Africa. It is the national language of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Watch this first video and sing along...then I've posted another video that explains what you're singing!
Growing up, we spoke French and English at home and now I mainly speak English. I love the way other languages sound and I especially love all the different ways we can communicate with each other.
I'm going to share a video each week that focuses on different languages. Can you sing along?
Hello, hello, and bonjour! Whew, it's been awhile since we last chatted, eh? I hope you've been just as great as I have been. I'm not such a fan of the winter time (my garden looks so sad and lonely) but there's been plenty of work to do on the show! The Captain himself is doing some design work...here's a peek at one of my favorites!
What do you want 2013 to look like? What your plans? What would you like to learn this year?
My plan is to have a larger garden, to teach Tutu how to ride a unicycle, and most importantly: for the Captain to get his show on television! We've all been working so hard on it and none more than the Captain, so it'd be nice to have you all be a part of it too. :)
